IP MAN
Upcoming martial arts movie Ip Man (pronounced ip-man, not I-P Man) is not about a superhero but actually about Bruce Lee's sifu Yip Man.. Dunno why da heck the rename it Ip Man. Yip Man is the first person who teaches chinese martial arts Wing Chun openly to people.Starring Donnie Yen, Simon Yam, Lam Ka-Tung and some other people la..... Director's seat is taken by Wilson Yip and choreography by Sammo Hung. Hope the movie turns out well as i respect Donnie Yen's willingness to learn up other kinds of martial arts (much like Bruce Lee himself). His last two films SPL and Flashpoint features Mixed Martial Arts as his primary fighting style. I was expecting Flashpoint to have MMA moves as the opening credits features Donnie Yen administering the double leg takedown and ground and pound move to some guy in the boxing ring.
This movie, Ip Man will have Donnie fighting in Wing Chun style. Let's see his performance this time around.

Mama Mia Movie

Well, at first i was somehow a skeptical about the movie. But i was sooooooo wrong...... The movie is great !!! Provided your music preferances are open enough to accept the kind music played in the movie. I might be a metalhead but 60's disco works for me too.... Seriously... :-)
I don wanna spoil it for anybody, just to say the movie's story is good and we can sing along to all the ABBA tunes sung in the movie as the lyrics are subtitled both in English and Malay !!!! The songs are sung in the original ABBA arrangement with the actors/actresses singing the vocals. Songs like Mama Mia, Super Trooper, Dancing Queen, Take A Chance on Me and many other ABBA tunes are featured. Can't stop humming the tunes after i left the cinema. Gosh.
Make sure when you are watching the movie feel free to sing along if you wanna and also TRY not to sit beside someone who sings along in his freaking high pitch voice.... XD I don mind people singing along but sing la in your normal voice ! Whats with the high pitch voice? Trying to imitate ABBA kah?

Racism is a weapon of mass destruction.
IF ANYBODY IS READING THIS, STOP BEING A RACIST............
IF RACISM GETS OUT OF CONTROL IT WILL DESTROY THE COUNTRY INSIDE OUT.
What is wrong with people being a Malay, Chinese, Indian and others? Also what is wrong with people believing in Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism and other world religions?
Answer is NOTHING IS WRONG ! We are all one human race, stop discriminating.

Allergy oh allergy
Screwed my face and body on beginning of August.... Not really screwed up by me but screwed by my allergy so i in a way screwed myself up. Haih. The left side of my face got some minor infection as well as some parts of my body. Ya ya, go ahead and say i'm dirty. It's because of a minor allergy reaction not because i din wash my face or din bath for few days.
I went to see doctor, gave me some medication and my face healed in time for me perform on the 4th Inter Dhamma School Hymns Competition. The sucky thing is i got some infection on my chest, it is so damn painful and to top it all off, the pain got so intense the morning i supposed to leave Penang for KL for the competition !!!! Hurts when i put on my shirt. So this explains why i keep pulling my shirt practically 24/7 during the 2 days trip and walked hunched like a zombie.. (to prevent the infection and the pus from touching my shirt) Pop in 2 panadols and i carried some with me just in case the pain get unbearable again.... Teik Min got flu and i got panadols with me that i can't give it to him cause i really really needed it. Sorry man...

Second case is when my chest got better and the other side of my face got infected as well cause i scratched it while i'm asleep. (come on, how the hell can you control when you are sleeping). Aih. Applied the cream and the pus started to go away and skin starting to close up. BUT on Thursday which is 2 days away from INCOVAR DnD, the allergy got bad again and it got infected all over again.... Dang $*(%@#%^ got worst along the way. Too bad i have to go for the DnD with my allergy... It's not infectious to others ma so might as well go lo. Sad thing is i can't do much as the cream that i bring along were practically useless, had to let it be to prevent further damage and the infection got worst. After DnD i came back Penang looking like a bad copy of Two Face.... I realized it's caused by the pasembur that i took few days before it got worst. The malay pasembur gravy has peanut in it and i'm kinda allergic to peanut. Stupid me.......
AND...

.. a visit to my usual doctor recommended me to
another specialist as he put it, "Don go to all the simple clinics anymore. Usual drugs won't do you good." Ooookkaayyy...... The doctor asked me to go for is quite a well known doctor and also known for his charges !!! I remembered the last visit i went i did not have enough money to pay. Gosh. So to play safe i withdraw some cash. When at the clinic, the doctor asked me, "How are you?" which i bluntly answered, "Not good....." If i say i'm fine i will be lying aren't i? After the consultation bla bla, to be on the safe side i asked the doctor how much all together before i leave his room. Tick tack tick tack on the calculator the doctor dengan selambanya menjawab, "325". I was like "................" 325 for one freaking visit !! "Come back after the medication," said the doctor. "Lantak la" i said to myself. Lantak is a slang for don care/ don give a dang. 2nd time i'm given isotretinoin. It's a type of controlled drug that can be only administered by a specialist (also costs an arm and leg). So have to stay away from blood donation until the medicine finishes.
I am so not gonna go back there.... Luckily the cream and medication works or else it's gonna be the worst spent RM325 in my entire life..... Still remembered clearly my eldest bro reaction when i told him the price. Really priceless... X-D
Isotretinoin works for you and burns your pocket too...!!! :P Good things don come cheap.

Metallica is back !!
The popular metal band Metallica is back !!! With new album titled Death Magnetic dropping in some time in September, it's one of the most anticipated hard rock album of the year.
Glad to know they have abandoned their St Anger album sound and going back to their original sound. They are going back to drop tuning guitars, more old school style drum sounds compared to St Anger where the drums sounded a bit to bassy and guitar solos !!
Below is the video for the song called The Day That Never Comes. Watch the video and you'll know what the song is about. Awesome riffs, and drums. Did not really showcase bassist Rob Trujilo's skills yet but the bassline complements the sound.

Seems to me most American bands are pissed off about the Iraq war.
